TL;DR
- Every attendee gets a blank ID-1 / CR80 card alongside their lanyard.
- Grab the SVG template, design your card.
- Watch X / LinkedIn / Mastodon — the submission email drops in the coming weeks.
- Send your final design → we print it → you pick it up at the conference. It’s yours to keep.
This September, your BSidesFrankfurt badge isn’t the only thing you’ll be wearing. Alongside your lanyard, every attendee receives a blank ID-1 (CR80) card — a small, keepable piece of the conference that you design yourself and take home at the end of the day.
The card
The card follows the ID-1 / CR80 format — the same size as a credit card, ID card, or business card: 85.60 × 54.00 mm, with a 3.18 mm corner radius. That’s the only hard rule. Everything else — artwork, text, jokes, QR codes, your handle, your favourite CVE number — is up to you.

Make it yours
To get you started, here’s a ready-to-edit SVG template. Open it in whatever you like — Inkscape, Illustrator, Figma, or even a text editor ;) — make it yours, and export.
Get yours printed — on us
Here’s the deal: send us your finished design before conference week and we’ll print it and hand it to you on the day of the conference. Guaranteed. No on-site queue, no printing fee, no “maybe”.
We’ll announce the submission email address in the coming weeks. Keep an eye on our channels so you don’t miss it:
- LinkedIn — BSides Frankfurt
- X / Twitter — @BSidesFRA
Once the address is live, email us your final SVG or PNG at card size (300+ DPI recommended). We handle the rest, and your card will be waiting at the badge desk in September.
EDIT: You can send your desired badge to [email protected] - please use the email you used for ordering a ticket in order to prevent fraud.

Share your design (optional)
Want to show it off before September? We’d love that. Post your design publicly and tag @BSidesFRA — we’ll boost our favourites and reshare a few (email us if we miss it!). Inspiration is contagious, and seeing what others build is half the fun.
See you in September.
